I spend a lot of time listening to and looking for good music. And when doing so is possible, I also do my best to get out to see live music - though not nearly as much as I would like to, and not nearly as much as I used to. My tastes are fairly wide ranging. But in general, I tend to listen to extreme metal, minimal wave, psychrock, and outlaw country.

During the COVID pandemic I started to buy a lot of music on Bandcamp. I was really impressed by their decision to forgo their market share on the first Friday of the month. And the more that I thought about it, the clearer it became that I tend to listen to whole albums, and I would prefer to support the artists that I listen to directly.
